If you choose to pay online by credit card, you may do so by clicking “PAY TAXES ON-LINE” above, or by calling 903-494-6650, or the website https://payments.municipay.com/tx_campcad. Please remember a 2.4% processing fee will be added to all online payments via credit card. You can also use your checking/savings account, which will cost $1.50.
If you are Over 65, SSI Disabled, or a service-connected Disabled Veteran you may qualify to pay in four equal installments. Please contact Camp CAD for more information.
Pittsburg ISD taxes reflect the benefit of the $100,000 Homestead exemption Texas voters passed in the November 2023 election. Property owners receiving a Homestead exemption will see an explanation (in blue) of SB2 passed by the 88th Texas Legislature on the back of your statement.
Texas voters passed Proposition 1 on May 7, 2022, which amended the Constitution authorizing the legislature to provide for a reduction in the 2023 school tax ceiling (freeze) for property owners with 65 & older exemption, or those qualified disabled person. Tax rates and ultimately the amount of taxes levied on property are determined by governing bodies of each of the taxing authorities. Mineral, utility and industrial accounts are appraised for the district by Capitol Appraisal Group in Austin, Texas.
Real estate and personal property accounts are appraised locally by the district.
